I'm Falling
Down and Down,
Into the uninvited.
My wings torn from my skin,
My feathers caught alight as they fell to the ground.
Down and Down.
I fall down.
In deep despair,
The taste of death poisoning the air.
Burning, decaying,
The harsh stench branding my senses.
I'm blind.
Unaware of time,
Oblivious to my surroundings.
Down and Down.
I feel pain and suffering,
A constant reminder that I'm still alive.
Down and Down.
But as I fall,
I think of you..
        I'v Landed.
